Hi Fred and Jeff; sorry for the delay in replying. I have realized that I am a complete idiot because I forgot completely that the outer rims of the duallies are turned backwards, so the rings will indeed be facing each other. Duh!, as they say. Thanks for reminding me of that. Oh, and you're right, the wheel studs are REALLY fat. Thanks for telling me that the 10-stud wheels won't fit. I'd better stick with these 20 inch rims after all, but I suppose the cost of 20 inch tires might be higher than those of a more modern size. Fred: I'm located near Ottawa, so despite your kind advice, Bolton might not work out too well. Thanks again everyone that's contributed on this; you've all changed my mind to wanting to stick with the existing rims. Tim.
