I liked Harvesters idea on spinning up oil pressure with a drill.
Years ago I made a dummy distributor for that from an old junk one that I could attach a drill to.
But you got to mark the location of the motor before pulling the dist.Like put it at TDC on no.1 firing or whatever you choose because you don't want it 180 degrees out after you stick the dist. back in.
I always did it this way on a fresh motor,that way you can see the oil pumping,plus I wanted to know if I was good to go before going through all the work of dropping in the motor.
