From what I have found the AT545 differs from the AT540 only in the filter assembly and in the Allison parts catalog they list a conversion kit as the replacement filter for the 540.
The only thing I am worried about is top end speed without an overdrive and the slip in the torque converter.
It is also killing some payload it weighs about four time what the SM420 weighs. | | |
