tmack before going and just trying to start it, I would be more worried about sticking valves. My first truck was a 55.1 3800. Wish someone would of told me that before starting. But atleast it gave me reason to buy parts. 3 bent push rods, 1 bent valve. Eithor remove valve cover and lightly tap on valves for movement, or try to turn the motor my hand.
