The only truck data book that I have access to is the copy that the vendors sell, and it copyrighted 1949. I does not mention this option anywhere, however, it may be an abriged version because the index lists "Paint-options and Matching Duco Numbers pg 199" yet page 199 is for Truck Lubricants.
Man, I feel like this has been discussed before.
