3B 'Bolter 3 Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 B. C. Canada	Hy lazy j, that engine is a 230,or a 250, which is a newer engine than the 235, that piece of linkage probably connects the the choke to the fast idle cam on the throttle, hope that helps.
