If the trans. has the mech. outlet your cable should hook right up & the speedo should work. After it works compare the odometer reading with the mile markers on the freeway. If it,s not right remove the gear from the adapter that the cable hooks to & get one with more or less teeth accordingly. If it is an electric sender type you will have to do something different. Like get electric custom gauges or a conversion. Both expensive.
