I remembered that i have a 1963 Chevrolet truck shop manual.The manual doesn't mention a 235 or a 261 engine in a 1963.The engine chart shows a 230,292,283,327,348,409 .The manual also shows a L4 153 and a 4-53 diesel.

Under four wheel drive,it states"engine availability" .

It shows a thriftmaster six.What engines are considered a thriftmaster six ?

I'm confused on the 327,I thought the first year for trucks was 1966 .
