smoran-I read somewhere that you could try a passenger's (right) side manifold on the left side of the engine. You would just have to run a longer exhaust pipe on that side.

P.S. Maybe you could check out the stock manifolds on a late model LT4 F-body (Camaro/Firebird). If memory serves, they kick way up, the tops are even with the tops of the valve covers.
