okay i was listening to some stuff and found this. this is what i would want it to sound like. what do i need to make it sound like this?
Take your muffler off. That should get you the sound that you are looking for. Maybe not what Jerry and his loud .45 wants to hear though!
I'm running a dual 2-1/2" Flowmaster system in my 55 Chevy stepside. 350cid V8. It's loud when I accelerate, and rumbles nicely at idle. Compared with all the Harley morons in my area that run straight pipes, my truck is relatively quiet.
