If you plan on using a lift you'll need a minium height of 12'. If you are using an overhead door in that bay install it following the roof line so you would hit the vehicle should some of your friends visit you while the truck in up... I did'nt do this and always used to lock the door on that bay. Nothing is worse then someone opening the door on your car and even worse, if you do it not thinking.
