Another things I always did was to have safety glass in a plastic bag (protecting them from debris) right there at the machines. I used this practice because I would catch my Son using equiptment without eye protection. His excuse was he could'nt find the safety glasses.
I also use to cover the gauges on my tanks with a plastic bag to protect them as well.
