Fred T 'Bolter F Joined: Jun 2000 Posts: 2,773 Wichita, KS	You can run the 6 volt starter on 12 volts. Just don't crank for more than 15 or so seconds at a time, or the starter will get hot. These old starters will take it, there are a lot of us doing it. Fred 52 3600 69 C-10
