The floor in my 37 cab is cracked out around the rear mounting holes,(chunks out about the size of my fist). I'm going to have to cut out the rear of the seat pedistal to get at the damage, and weld in a piece the width of the cab, probably doubling up the metal (16 ga.) around the bolt holes. This patch will extend a few inches into the recess where the gas tank sat. Tha cab is on a dolly now,no doors. I left the dash in for support, and welded a piece of angle across the bottom of the front cab mounts on the firewall side. Do I somehow need to support the rear of the cab before I cut this floor panel out?? Thanks for any help! Jeff
Just because you have a few Craftsman tools, it dosen't mean your a craftsman.
