Have a fresh Rochester 1 brl on my 250 and since the truck (67 panel) did not come with a cleaner and one brl air cleaners hard to find, I installed a "mr gasket" plastic adapter and stadard 10" chrome air cleaner.
Therin is where the trouble lies...It's sits too low, and is in the way of the choke mechanism, can I fab. somthing out of PVC?(the adapters plastic) ....or will it melt!!??
Just wonderin if its a harware store or Machine shop issue.
