I just picked up my supplies from the paint supplier I always use and was talking to him about that, and he informed me that in europe they are already using waterborne primers and base coats, but still using polyurathane clear coat, so it looks the epa is trying to keep up with the jones, so to speak. and I did a dune buggy in water based paint and the only thing i had trouble with was the clear, finally got it to buff out half decent. it was a PIA.
