Ok, I just now got around to doing the magnet test, and 3 metal roll pins stuck to the back of the alternator while the truck was running, and then they fell off when the engine was turned off. So I take it this means its charging, but the "Gen" light is still on. Could this be a ground inside the gauge cluster? Or something else? Thanks
