You dont need any special tools to repair your trans,I had the trans apart in my 37 which should be similar to your 41. I used a aftermarket repair manual for a 50s car to repair mine ,it was the same procedure. If I can remember correctly the hardest to get out was a bearing retainer that I think I used a couple of screwdrivers to get it out. It has been about three years since I had mine apart and its not hard and it would be nice to have the correct tools but its not necessary
