Lucforce, I'm glad you mentioned the cables. I was concerned not so much about the length of the cables, but how heavy they were. I've used heavy 3ph. units in the past, and you know you've got something when you pick up the gun. On the other hand I've used a portable 110v unit, and the cables and gun feel like a toy. I want something that's single phase, 240v, that can be converted to MIG, and has a little more "umph" than your average hobbyist 110 welder.
