I've seen them where the back section has been taken loose and moved forward, creating a small cab area, with a flatbed behind it. One guy used his as a hay hauler; another used his to haul his tractor to tractor pulls.
If it were left as a school bus, and restored that way, perhaps some bus line would be interested in it as a parade unit.
