depends on where yer from!! southern CA maybe not so important, cold climate it helps - Fentons or the like have their own ways to deal w/ preheating - don't know that it's replaceable, but you'd have to take off the manifold at any rate, and the main problem would be tryin to find one seperate from a manifold - the way to loosen'em up is kerosine, according to the shop manual
