To all - Based on my research, the trans mounting pattern on the ATLAS engines is NOT anywhere near the SBC or even the GM 60 degree.
Correct... with I update - the dowel pin locations are exactly the same as a SBC, so if you have a scattershield then all thats needed is a few new hole to mount the adapter plate to the block - the race team I'm helping did exactly this so I know its correct.
