The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area The HiPo Shop Steering column for my 49?

Hi Guys,
I found a few columns form 80 and 81 GMC vans but they measure up to long. Around 36" from the end of the column to where the steering wheel mounts.

I found another van. It's a 90 Chevy and a rough measurement tells me it's around 32". I know the length is perfect,
but would it work in my 49 GMC 1/2 ton? I've got a small block V8 in my truck. Thanks.
