I went out to the garage and heated it up so I could get a good look at the ends and get them off. They appear okay and I ordered a set of zerk fittings along with the new rebuild kit. The ball ends look good as well. The zerks were off as the front end because the PO had redone the frame and painted everything prioe to selling it. Unless there is a real good reason to not use the original tie rod ends in refurbished condition, I will get these cleaned up and leave them original with the new parts. Any history of these having some sort of failure that I need to be concerned about. The appear to be of sound design if maintained. Thanks for your thoughts.
