yes
& press /push it out. .... as curt b showed above in tech tip.

but freezing them vs. time it takes to install them is taken up by the install time. many don't heat the frame anyway. They are not a tight tolerance fit as they just hold a pin and allow it to move in a very short arc, fit isn't critical. that's why the newer ones have a raised serration all around the dia.
