This topic has been discussed before...and as you can see not everyone agrees. Some think 1" longer wheelbase is enough to center the wheel in the fender, some think 1 1/2". Is there a local AD 1/2-ton close to you that you can look at and measure? It might help. It's your truck so have fun with it!
