No, the '03 2500HD is my current daily driver. I work in the oil patch up here and need to get around a little. It has the 6.0l Voretc in it. I wish it had a Duramax!
There's a place up here that sells parted-out motors. I can get a Duramax out of an '05 (LLY) with 30,000 km (about 20,000 miles) on it for about $ 6,000.00. I can get an LB7 with 50,000 km for about $ 4,500.00.
Now, all I need to do is find the elusive Allison transmission!
