BIG CHEVY 3600 Master Gabster B Joined: Oct 2006 Posts: 4,983 DALLAS/BLANCO TEXAS	Re. removing the front crossmember: My Heidt's kit put the top shock mount 12 inches back from the crossmember and plenty of room for the rack and pinion. ~Jim
