These stainless steel (not chrome) pieces were sold in a 14-piece set as an option from the factory for
Panel Trucks. The set was also available as a parts-set from GM and could have then been installed on any 1/2 ton to 1 ton truck (they might have also fit OK on the fenders of larger trucks).
In case you are interested, maybe someone else will know how well the rear fenders strips fit on non-Panel-Body trucks.
