I bought a tailgate cover from Mar-K for my 55 2nd series. It looks like it is going to fit well and it will look really nice with the roll pan.
The directions say I should weld it along the top edge where it joins the original tailgate. My question is… Do I need to weld along the entire seam or can I weld most of it and then let the body filler, fill in the spaces between the welds?
Thanks for any advice.
Ross
