You can make them out of strip steel from the local hardware store. Just buy some steel the same size, cut them longer than the originals, drill the hole and install. I used a round head pin about 5/16" dia for the rivit. I found them in the hardware section of my local ACE Hardware store. I cut them a little long so I could pound them over on the top side. You could also use a taper head screw from the top side with a lock nut on the bottom as long it don't hit the top leaf. I bent my after they were on the springs. I heated them at the joint so they would be tight to the leafs. I cut them to the same size after the first bend, this way when I bent them over the top, each side was even.
