I had to make a puller for my '37 wheel. The steering wheel is drilled for very small screws, something like 10-32 I think. Then take a scrap of 1/4" thick steel with two holes drilled for the two screws to go thru, put as much pressure on the two screws as you think they can handle, then smack the center with a brass hammer. The scrap steel will protect the shaft from damage.
After you get the wheel off, be very carefull with the top bushing in the mast. They are not avalible. Best to drive it out from the bottom using a long broom handle or similer tool. The mast has a small clip in it holding the bushing from sliding to the bottom. I had to make a bushing for mine using a hard wood. Its held up well but needs replace now due to wear. Joe
