Justin Rubsam sent me some capacitors to experiment with, as the original was shot. I thought I would clean up the internals befor trying the caps. It turns out that what I thought was a paper diaphram or resonator is metal. The paper is what appears to be a gasket. Before I just scrape it off to clean the metal resonator, would anybody have a suggestion on a replacement for the paper gasket? It appears to be a thick, waterproof paper. Something on the order of heavy brown paper. | | |
