Size does matter, if I can assume your '54 GMC is a 1/2-, 3/4- or 1-ton, any '48 through '55 1st 1/2-, 3/4- or 1-ton GMC hood will fit, though there may be differences in side emblem holes. A Chevy hood will NOT fit your GMC. 1955 1st GMC Suburban \| 1954 GMC 250 trailer puller project \| 1954 GMC 250 Hydra-Matic \| 1954 Chevy 3100 . 1947 Chevy COE \| and more... It's true. I really don't do anything but browse the Internet looking for trouble...
