| | | | Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 107 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2005 Posts: 107 | Can anyone out there help me identify the rear end or gear ratio in my 46 1/2 ton with out taking anything apart. I thought it was the stock rear end but I can only go about 40 without it screaming at me. It is a closed driveline, 235 out of a 56 dual fenton intake with rochesters and fenton dual exhaust, 3 speed on the floor.
It runs great just no top end. Is there a id number on the rear end or a way to figure out the ratio without taking it apart?
I sure hope someone out there knows a fancy trick
