Larger tires would be the best way to increase the ground clearance. heavier springs will not really raise it up much, and will make the ride much stiffer. A 235/85/16 is roughly 31" in diameter, or a 245/75/16 (more common) which comes out to about a 30", would help with ground clearance. You could consider re-arched springs up front and a spring over axle conversion in the rear to get some more hight without doing anything too drastic.
