It's strictly mechanical, but there's an easy way to bump it over. I just used a large screwdriver on the linkage on the bellhousing, just inboard of the starter. Just pull down on the screwdriver pivoting it off the toeboard. I put a shop rag over the end to keep from gouging the paint.
