Can some one please help me find out what my engine is. It is in a 1 ton 1947 first series. The casting number right behind the distrubuter is T2188C1 the C could be a 6. The numbers are not in a real straight line as on other motors. I have tried looking around through codes on other sites and here but have not found on with the number. This may not be the orginal motor I dont know. I was told it was a 261 but that it had babbit bearings. The engine only has about 15 psi of oil pressure so I thought it was a 235. Please any help would be great. Thanks Matthew
