It depends whether you want to use the old mounts or the newer side mounts. My big big block is mounted using the original 6 cylinder mounts for the front mounts. The front engine mount can be fabricated from a piece of angle iron, and will attach on either side of the timing chain cover.
The rear mount can be a stock older V8 bellhousing bolted to the stock rear crossmember, or you can fabricate a crossmember for the stock mount at the rear of the transmission. This will mean that you will have a very long distance between the front and rear mounts with all the weight in the middle being unsupported. You can make two snubbers that locate over the original rear mount to support this weight. Mine has worked well for me since 1970 when I did the first big block installation in my 55 Cameo 1/2 ton.
If you use the newer side mounts, you may be forced to move the steering box. You will have to tell me what you will be using for a transmission.
