[351]What are you looking for out of the truck.Yes they can be rebuilt,but they can get pricey,I personally like them,especially the low end torque and the exhaust note.As far as going to a V-8,it's your choice,find a donor truck for the parts you need,that chassis will take a V-6,and inline or a V-8,need the frame mounts and other trinkets.
