3B is now the proud and rightful owner of our old "BIG DAWG" 5700 low cab forward 2 ton. he took posession of it yesterday. i drove it up to the border in order to export/import it in to Canada from my friends place in Bellingham Wa to the Sumas border crossing without a hitch. the ole boy lived up to its name as it growled along with a cracked exhaust manifold like an old junkyard dawg. that truck's got lots of bark.
3B took over the controls once over the border for the final leg home to add to his extensive and very impressive collection of chevy,gmc,reo & mapleleaf trucks (he even has a very rare Dennis fire truck from england) apparently as i've been tod the 5700 series was never available in Canada so this is a very welcome addition to his fine collection. i watched the new owner pull away from the traffic light as he peeled off towards the dawg's new home. 3B had the smile of a chesire cat on his mug and looked very much at home sitting tall in his new found treasure.
