The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Making a Stovebolt Bed Cutting your own bed wood?

I am thinking of removing the metal floor on my 1969 Chev longhorn and replace it with wood. Can you tell me how wide the wood needs to be, how thick and if the wood fit into each other or if there is a gap that the metal strips cover?
