If you wnt/need to remve it, put a Phillips head screwsdriver (a #2 as I recall) in the tube, then grip with pliers/vice grips (the screwdriver prevents crushing). Then give it a twist and pull. It'll come right out. You can also drive it back inusing the same size screwdriver. Just lightly tap it back in. If it does gat damaged, 5/15" brake line makes an exellent replacement.
