Quite honestly it is not so hard IF you have all the pieces. Question is, if he forgot how he took it apart (sounds like me - now where did I park my truck) perhaps he also forgot where he put the parts. Did he order replacement parts? Someone here will be able to supply you with information needed to rebuild. I rebuilt one on a card table in my bedroom when I was 17 (took me 2 weeks). I sometimes wonder how my mother put up with me...
