| | | | Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,254 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2002 Posts: 2,254 | The tape comes in different thicknesses. I replaced the glass in my 55 2nd. I set the tape around the window, applies some oil, and slowly pressed it in with a bar clamp. Go slowly and you will be OK. You will need to trim the tape after you have it installed. Oh. I have a friend that installs automotive glass. He had a roll that they had not used in years (imagine that) so he gave me the roll. Now I have some for the 53 that I am taking apart.
