46, if you have a Chevy Truck shop manaual, section 6-16 explains rod bearing adjust. I just torqued mine down to 45 lbs. There is a good 6 cylinder mechanic near me, and he also torques them to 45 lbs. If you are only going to put rings in, I would just keep track of the number of shims on each rod, and put it back together like that.
