I don't know what they wrote for the 46 but the 47 to 53 adjustment is quite well described in the shop manual. I would think that the 46 would be about the same. The torque figures for the 47 to 53 I think are 35 to 45 ft lbs for the rods.

This is a chance to snug up on some extra clearance on the rods. The shims are tricky to keep track of as you are taking it apart. They can be reused with some care.
