Do keep track of the ends, springs are usually longer from center bolt to front or back, I forget what way is the usual offset though.

The bronze bushing will usually go in the spring eye it's self, the opposite end of the shackle, as the shackles are the threaded type.

The service manual will help a lot with these types of questions.

Please correct me if this info is wrong for 1/2 tons, I speak from experience with the bigger trucks only.
