It has been about 10 years since I lasted removed the flywheel from my truck and I don't remember how. Obviously, my memory is starting to slip me. Transmission and clutch are both out of the way. I removed the bolts that hold the flywheel to the back of the engine, but it wouldn't budge. Put the bolts back in place----just in case.
I have also pulled the oil pan, but that is for a different reason. Do I have to remove the 2 bolts on the bottom of the engine by the rear main seal to get the flywheel off??
