You can disasemble the shaft. Remove the pin
holding the gear on & remove the gear & washers.
Pull the shaft out of the dist. You will have
to spray carb cleaner or solvent on the shaft.
It has some varnish built up in it. Remove the
tiny e-rings under the rotor & dissasemble the
advance mech. noteing where all the parts go.
